Our work in Local Government

Course-Source's Learning Management System was chosen in 2004 to provide an online e-learning portal for local councils through an innovative service set-up by the I&DeA – Improvement & Development Agency. It enabled more than 75 councils to access e-learning on a wide range of IT and work-specific topics at an affordable level of start-up investment.

Today we provide councils directly with e-learning portals that are branded to look like a part of the council’s desktop environment and that provide a wider range of courses - including ECDL, IT skills, Health & Safety and Equalities - and additional integration with learning & development processes.

Our direct council clients include London Boroughs of Haringey, Brent, Lewisham, Metropolitan Boroughs of Rotherham and Bury, Suffolk County, Cities of Westminster and Winchester and a number of district councils. To find out more see our case studies here
